The trends in medical devices today are clear: smaller, more effective, more reliable and less invasive. Breakthrough devices are continually being developed with the potential to raise the quality of treatment and produce better outcomes for patients. The challenge facing the industry, however, is developing the manufacturing techniques to allow dramatically miniaturized devices to be produced in sufficient volume and at reasonably economical prices so they are available to the demand of the mass market.
The importance of manufacturing reliable devices in medical is greater than other industries. As the benefits of smaller devices help improve the quality of life, the ability to manufacture these devices to the highest precision, reliability and traceability are more important than ever and advanced manufacturing solutions are playing a more important role to replace the traditional machining techniques.
The Seminar covers the important role of Advanced Manufacturing solutions to support the ecosystem of Medical Technology Industry. The aim of the seminar is to discover the various approaches toward the applications of Advanced Manufacturing solutions for the industry. All attendees can learn to apply and innovate with Advanced Manufacturing solutions in their relevant businesses.
