We are pleased to inform that at the invitation of SMF President Douglas Foo, Mrs
Josephine Teo, Minster in the Prime Minister Office, Second Minister of
Manpower and Second Minister for Home Affairs has accepted SMF President’s
invitation to come to SMF for dialogue with SMF members on manpower issues.
Minister Mrs Teo wears many hats but she will be coming to meet SMF members in
her capacity as Second Minister for Manpower. She will be accompanied by a
senior team from SSG and WSG.
Minister Josephine Teo is expected to cover related aspects in the recent Singapore
Budget pertaining to manpower as well as other topics. For you information,
Ministry of Manpower covers development of workforce, employment practice,
Workplace safety and health, legislation, worker levy and all matters relative
to labor.
We would like to invite CEOs and Senior management representatives of companies to attend this Complimentary Dialogue session. This will be a good opportunity for companies to come together to give your feedback on this important subject of manpower and have dialogue with the Second Minister for Manpower, Minister Mrs Josephine Teo.
