Recognised since 2013 as the industry's biggest and most important international exhibition in Myanmar for the food and drinks industry, the MYANFOOD Expo will be next held from 1 to 3 November 2018 at the Myanmar Event Park in Yangon. The expo promises to be an internationally comprehensive platform that will showcase a wide variety of food & beverage products along with specialised equipment, supplies and services.
For a number of years now, Myanmar has experienced an economic boom along with enormous growth potential throughout all sectors of its infrastructure. According to the Asian Development Bank,Myanmar's gross domestic product is projected to increase by about 8.3% over the next few years at least. This greatly puts the country ahead inthe Southeast Asian region in terms of economic growth
Such a robust, growing economy as well as the increased disposable income among the general populace has fuelled a demand for a wider variety of food and drink products. Meanwhile, the increase in Myanmar’s tourism industry further raises the demand for improving food and beverages in the hospitality sector, while also creating more business opportunities for restaurants, cafe and bars.
MYANFOOD 2018 is the platform to support the development of the F&B industry by introducing new products, ideas and solutions while improving the quality and professionalism in the industry. By bringing together global brands and key decision makers that can benefit the parties involved as well as the country on the whole. Whether your objective is to conduct market feasibility studies, seek local partners and distributors, increase existing market shares in Myanmar, maintain relationships with key clients, or simply look for new opportunities with foreign partners, you are certain to meet your objectives at MYANFOOD 2018.
