The Singapore Standard (SS) for Supply and Delivery of Medication (SS SDM) was developed by the SS SDM Working Group under the direction of the Biomedical and Health Standards Committee. This SS serves as a guideline for medication delivery to customers such as patients and caregivers in Singapore. It establishes the fundamental requirements that are to be met in order to ensure the quality and integrity of medication that are being delivered to customers. The SS covers the delivery of medication to customers at locations such as home, locker boxes, pharmacies, clinics and nursing homes. The core elements of this standard focus mainly on pharmacy and logistics requirements. Implementation of this SS enhances the confidence level and safeguards the welfare of the consumers.
The purpose of this industry dialogue is for the SS SDM Working Group to gather valuable inputs from the industry stakeholders.
