Synopsis

SMEs Go Digital was announced at Budget 2017 to help SMEs build stronger digital capabilities to seize the growth opportunities in the digital economy.

In this digital age, SMEs understand the imperative to digitize their traditional physical business models and become a part of the digital economy. During their digitization journey, these SMEs look for a more structured and inclusive approach towards the adoption of digital technologies.

Unlike large enterprises with ample resources, SMEs look for different forms of platforms and supports in their available resource networks to enable their businesses to join the digital revolution and unleash their digital potential.

With more SMEs on board the digitization journey, the digital revolution has radically altered the way which online business platforms work. The ease, speed and openness of the online space becomes the greatest weakness, offering more fraud and misuse opportunities. Therefore, new competitive challenges and risks surfaced.

Theme of Digitalization with Cybersecurity for 3rd TGIF@SMF leads the SMEs with innovative ideas to hold their businesses securely in their digitization journey.
