As part of our continuous effort to help our members venture into new markets, the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), under the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Singapore initiative will be organising a Singapore Medical, Healthcare & Life Sciences Mission to Dusseldorf, Germany, from 12th November (Monday) – 14th November (Wednesday) 2018. http://www.medica-tradefair.com/
We strongly encourage companies to join us on this German mission to explore business opportunities focusing on the medical sector that includes electro-medicine, medical technology, information and communications technology, laboratory equipment, diagnostics, physiotherapy/orthopaedic technology, and medical services. The highlight of the show is to visit and have pre-arranged meetings with exhibitors of the renowned MEDICA trade fair.

- The world’s largest trade fair for the medical sector with approximately 5,000 exhibitors from 70 countries.
- MEDICA is held in-conjunction with COMPAMED, which is the leading international market place for the medical supplier industry and product research and development.
- The visitor ship for MEDICA 2017 was at 123,500 with more than 5,120 participating exhibitors across the globe. 67% of visitors were from European countries while 33% were from non-European countries reflecting a diversity of visitors around the world.
- 97% of the visitors to Medica 2017 were trade visitors.

- Registration fee for 3 day business (B2B meeting) matching is @ Euros 200 payable to SMF.

Administrative Details
All participating companies for this Brokerage Event at Medica 2018 expo are required to pay a registration fee of Euros €200 / pax to be paid directly to Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), see overleaf for details. Mission participants who are keen to visit the trade fair can purchase the visitor pass (valid for the whole trade fair duration) at SGD $120 / pax from SMF.
Note: Please note that the above-mentioned rates for hotel accommodation and airfare are based on our best estimate and are subject to changes and term & conditions of travel agents/airlines. Prices are exclusive of Business Visas and Travel Insurance. We advise participants to confirm the seats ASAP by registering early and placing the payment to SMF & your appointed travel agent in order to secure the seats.
