Synopsis

MEDICA is the world’s largest event for the medical sector. 


For more than 40 years it has been firmly established on every expert’s calendar. The event is the largest medical trade fair in the world – it attracted more than 5,100 exhibitors from 70 countries in 17 halls. Number of visitors in 2017 was 123,500.

Each year, leading individuals from the fields of business, research, and politics grace this top-class event with their presence — naturally alongside tens of thousands of national and international experts and decision-makers from the sector. 

MEDICA is clearly structured into different areas namely Electromedicine, Medical Technology, Information and communications technology, Physiotherapy, Orthopedic equipment, Laboratory equipment, Diagnostics, Disposables, commodities, and consumer goods.

Objective

 SMF is obtaining approval from Enterprise Singapore for the Singapore Pavilion in MEDICA 2019 to be covered under the International Marketing Activities Programme (iMAP). If the application is successful, iMAP will allow eligible companies to receive up to 70% subsidy of total eligible costs in space rental and stand construction.
