Synopsis

The Packaging Council of Singapore (PCS) under the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), will be holding its Singapore Packaging Star Awards (SPSA) Ceremony and Gala Dinner on 16 August 2019 at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. 


The Guest-of-Honour to officiate at this event will be Mr. Edwin Tong, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Law & Ministry of Health. With an expected turnout of 1500 guests from Government Agencies, Embassies, Partners and Member Companies, the cocktail reception will provide networking opportunities for all to network, establish new business contacts and renew rapport with existing business contacts. 
 

Objective

The highlight will be the presentation of the SPSA Awards to honour companies and students that are innovative and creative in the packaging designs of their products. The judging criteria were based on the companies’ effectiveness in production and materials usage; use of innovative design; technology and consciousness of the impact of their packaging on the environment.
