Synopsis

 The Smart Manufacturing Expo is Malaysia's biggest international smart manufacturing technology & solutions exhibition and it will be the no. 1 showcase of electrical components, motors and drive technology, additive manufacturing, system-oriented software, industry 4.0 & industrial internet, automation software solutions, etc.

This exhibition is co-located with the SMART NATION Expo and in partnership with the Malaysian Industry Governmental Group on High Technology (MIGHT) as well as the  the Malaysian Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii). Smart Manufacturing Expo,which will also include a major conference and technical presentations, will have trade buyers and decision makers attending this event.

Themed: “The Region’s No 1 Hybrid Event on Smart Nation Initiatives and Technology “It is the event for Malaysia’s transformation into a Smart Nation through increased competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability while creating new growth opportunities in Industry 4.0.

Objective

Take part in this event; showcase and bring about highly connected and knowledge-enabled machines and devices to transform the manufacturing sector.

There is an expected boost in the embrace of digital transformation in the Malaysian manufacturing sector and its related services with smart manufacturing technologies through Malaysian Government's introduction of the National Policy on Industry 4.0. It is expected to disrupt the manufacturing landscape by improvements in yield, productivity, efficiency and will result to generating high value jobs.

Take advantage of the Accelerated Capital Allowance (ACA), and
automation equipment capital allowance in the manufacturing
sector on the first RM2 million and RM4 million incurred on
qualifying capital expenditure to 2023.

Expected Attendees: Factory owner and manufacturers, subcontractors, assemblers, factory automation consultants, system integrators and engineers.

Other facts:The Malaysian Government has also allocated RM550 million for smart automation matching grants of up to RM2 million per company to 1,000 manufacturing companies, and 1,000 service provider companies in order to automate their business processes. Malaysia’s manufacturing sector could experience an incremental growth of US$30 billion over the next decade driven by productivity gains, creation of additional revenue streams through new products and quality improvements, as manufacturers adopt IR4.0 technologies.
