Synopsis

 The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) in partnership with the High Commission of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, the Export Development Board as well as the Singapore Sri Lanka Business Association will be organising a Zoom webinar on Sri Lanka as a Potential Alternative Manufacturing Hub on Monday, 26th July 2021 from 1630HR to 1800HR Singapore Time.This Zoom webinar is complimentary for all participants but pre-registration and pre-acceptance for the virtual webinar will be necessary. 

Objective

This informative online session aims to help companies to consider and facilitate business expansion to Sri Lanka to create diversification of their global supply chains during this challenging business environment created by the COVID-19 pandemic.  


The webinar will cover:

• Sri Lanka’s manufacturing and Logistics Capabilities.
• Sri Lanka’s Incentives and policies for foreign businesses.
• Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that Sri Lanka has signed including the FTA            between Singapore and Sri Lanka.

The Guest of Honour who will give the Keynote address is Hon.Tharaka Balasuriya, State Minister of Regional Cooperation, Sri Lanka.
