Synopsis

The concept of regular testing was introduced for workers identified as having a higher risk of exposure to COVID-19 – conducted in the form of Rostered Routine Testing (RRT) – to safeguard against a potential workplace outbreak and ringfence any COVID-19 positive case early. Implementing an effective testing programme at the workplace is essential in maintaining a safe working environment for all as we look to transition back to some degree of normalcy.

Efforts to ensure a safe working environment can be augmented by a fully vaccinated workforce. Following the Health Sciences Authority’s approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for pandemic use in Singapore, various initiatives – from establishing vaccination guidelines to setting up vaccination centres across the country – have been launched to support the nationwide vaccination effort. People who are medically eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are strongly encouraged to do so – to protect themselves and their loved ones, including those ineligible to receive the vaccine.

In this health webinar, join Dr. Lee Mingyong from Fullerton Healthcare Group will share his knowledge on the various types of COVID-19 tests and vaccines, address some of the common misconceptions surrounding COVID-19 testing and vaccination, and explain the importance of regular testing and getting vaccinated.

Objective

As the world continues to adapt to new challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the advent of the various types of COVID-19 tests and vaccines come as a much-needed boost in the global fight to curb the spread of the virus.
